Last week, I finally got Weston on video singing his "renditions" of Twinkle Twinkle and ABCs. (He caught on much sooner than I did to the fact that they share a tune. I learned that well after Weston was born, when I started singing those songs to him. I felt like my entire childhood had been a lie.)
This video will also treat you to:
-A little bit of that classic hereditary stubbornness, well known to the parents of his parents, heh heh!
-A little bit of potholder love! (Yes, in addition to spatulas, he also loves potholders.)

He really is so cute. Paige came running over to the computer to see what I was watching, and said, "who is that cute boy?" and yes, she is still awake at this late hour... anyway, I wanted to tell you that I found out/felt the EXACT same way about those two songs that share a tune. How on earth did I not figure that out sooner?

Oh my gosh, he just kills me! So darn cute!! I really can't believe how MUCH he talks (and sings). Sheesh. We are living in the stone age over here. By the way, "Baa Baa Black Sheep" also has the same tune. Whoever made up these songs wasn't very creative.

Hi Jean. What I meant to say about the spatula's was that all the time singing in the spatula's led him to this perfect rendition of the ABC's. That was impressive. Well, that and a little help from mommy singing her heart out to her son.
we LOVE this video!!! and the subtitles are excellent. killian requests it 5 times a day! my favorite part is how he says "do it" - what a funny little voice!!!
