PA Vacay Yay

We're heading out to PA tomorrow, so this blog will be quiet for a while, and it will probably be all full of spiderwebs and tumbleweed by the time we get back. Anyway, here are some of the anticipated highlights of our upcoming vacation:

-My awesome friend Lauri's awesome wedding to one of the awesomest guys in the world
-Being a bridesmaid in said wedding
-Getting to wear high-heeled strappy gold sandals at said wedding (sorry, Tim)
-Weston meeting his Grandpa and Grandma and uncles and aunt for the first time (and of course seeing Gangy and Grandalf again)
-Being able to leave Weston with said grandparents so Tim and I can actually be alone (don't worry, folks, we'll spend plenty of time WITH you as well)
-Weston meeting the millions of other extended family members in the area
-Weston meeting his Cincinnati family members (aka the Hunkle and my cool cuzzes)
-Visiting Lancaster with my cake-hurrying sister-in-law and her freaking adorable son
-Eating at Shady Maple in Lancaster (particularly the buttered noodles)
-Shopping at the outlets in Lancaster
-Swimming in a pool that's actually right in the backyard
-Eating ridiculous quantities of Philly soft pretzels, Tastykake, Asher's, and Hearth Baker
-Eating sumptuous meals of turkey hoagies and cheesesteaks
-Taking NAPS
-Reading Breaking Dawn (hopefully!)
-Driving around and reminiscing about good times in PA
-Experiencing flying with a baby for the first time (which I'm not exactly looking forward to, but which will mean that it has finally been experienced, thus lessening the paranoia about it)
-And much more!!! ("All this for not four, but THREE easy payments of $49.99!" Haha, just kidding.)

Until later! Adieu mes amis!

If you are really going to tell me that you got tix for all-the-way across the country for $150, I need you to be my travel agent!

How long will you guys be gone?

Don't worry, Weston should be ok... the older they get, the more difficult flying gets... well - at least, in Malia's case, anyway.

How fun for you! Visiting old places as a new Mommy is fun because it's through new eyes and you get to show off your Lil' ONE!

Enjoy it all! You'll be exhausted and refreshed at the same time!

Come back to Pennsylvania! (sigh)
Anyway, we're glad you are home safe and had no diaper explosions or dreaded "leaker-uppers" during the flights.
